PIXEL PRESS
Pixel Press: Where Young Stories Come to Life
At Pixel Press, students become creators—not just consumers—of technology. Through hands-on digital projects, they use iPads to write, design, create, and publish original work while developing creativity, communication, and digital literacy. As students create and share their ideas in meaningful ways, they strengthen their writing skills, find their voice, and build confidence in their ability to communicate. Lessons are thoughtfully designed by Florida-certified teachers and aligned with Florida's B.E.S.T. Standards, ensuring students develop meaningful academic skills while engaging in creative, real-world learning.
Through Pixel Press, students explore:
-
Multimedia Storytelling: Merging traditional writing with digital illustration and filmmaking.
-
Florida Standards-Aligned Curriculum: Every project is intentionally woven with Florida B.E.S.T. ELA and Computer Science Standards to reinforce essential literacy and technology skills.
-
The Draft-to-Digital Experience: Learning how to map out ideas on paper before bringing them to life through digital software.
-
Creative Toolkits: Using technology for creation and self-expression rather than just consumption.
At the end of the program, your child won’t just walk away with a story—they’ll have a QR-coded digital portfolio showcasing their very own published masterpieces to share with family and friends!
